Kyo no oto ink: Hisoku

TAG Stationery inks are something special: this company from Kyoto, the stronghold of Japanese arts and crafts, combines tradition and modernity. Colors, which are known for centuries and are provided with appropriate meaning, are mixed here to a high-quality ink. All the colors in the Kyo no oto series were also used in this way in traditional woodblock printing in Japan.

Hisoku is also called secret ink. Whereby the recipe is not secret, but this blue-green-gray tone is very often used as a base color for porcelain, so that this has a mysterious tone, which makes the patterns particularly shiny.
