The most famous guitar riff par excellence is inspired by a rather dramatic incident: at the Montreaux Jazz Festival, during Franz Zappa's performance, the concert hall burned down. Deep Purple were on site at the time recording their current record and saw the fire glowing over Lake Geneva. This is exactly the image they conjured up in their song. And this was exactly the inspiration for the Diamine ink. The teal colored ink has a very strong red sheen when it dries.
