Kyo no oto ink: Yamabukiiro

TAG Stationery inks are something special: this company from Kyoto, the stronghold of Japanese arts and crafts, combines tradition and modernity. Colors, which are known for centuries and are provided with appropriate meaning, are mixed here to a high-quality ink. All the colors in the Kyo no oto series were also used in this way in traditional woodblock printing in Japan.

Although the color is described as bright yellow, it is a beautiful yellow-green like the dye obtained from the Japanese ranunculus. This is namely called Yamabuki in Japanese and provides a golden hue.
