Namiki's 2023 limited edition has a very special motif: Hagi, or as the English name goes, Bush Clover. This plant has a very special meaning in Japan as one of the seven classic autumn plants, which has also been revered in countless poems.
Here the bush clover is depicted climbing over the pen. The leaves are depicted in a three-dimensional manner using an elaborate maki-e technique. Moonlight is indicated by silver.
