The Parallel Pen is a special calligraphy fountain pen. It has a folded nib that allows the ink to be applied particularly powerfully and evenly. The line width can be varied depending on how the pen is placed on the paper: from very wide if the pen is placed at a 90 degree angle, to slightly narrower if a flatter angle is used and to around 1 mm if directly is written on the top.
Since the V-shaped nib stores a supply of ink, you can easily achieve beautiful color effects: simply add 1 to 2 drops of another ink to the nib. The fountain pen absorbs the color and then shows a beautiful gradient when writing.
The special cartridges from Pilot are required for this fountain pen.
