A fountain pen made of boiled stone? Yes! Pineider uses a composite material in the Alchemist series in which 40% is zeolite. Zeolite is a mineral that is cooked under pressure in the manufacturing process. The name comes from ancient Greek and refers to the mineral that is formed in volcanoes when the hot magma flows into the salt water of the seas.
Zeolite is a versatile material that stands out for its fine porosity. As a result, it has a very velvety surface that adapts perfectly to the temperature and humidity of the environment.
The fountain pen is a piston fountain pen and has a viewing window for ink control. The end button of the plunger mechanism can be easily operated with the included adapter. The 14 kt Hyperflex nib comes in F and M line widths, and the cap closes with a magnetic twist mechanism. Packaged in a gift box that also includes a travel inkwell.
