Ukiyo-e is the art of Japanese woodblock printing. This fascinates with its colors and color gradients, each of which is difficult to describe in just one word. The Taccia Ukiyo-e inks reproduce these unique colors into a high quality fountain pen ink.
Four colors were developed for each famous ukiyo-e artist. A somewhat lesser known painting from Hokusai's famous series of views of Mount Fuji was the model for Fukaki Hanada. This water-blue ink with a slight tinge of gray is found in this image.
